Since our founding in 2010, we have operated regionally, across Germany, and internationally, supporting the planning and implementation of complex IT environments. Over the past years, we have achieved an average annual growth rate of approximately 20%. Today, Söldner Consult GmbH employs over 40 people and is led by the three brothers Prof. Dr. Jens Söldner, Dr. Guido Söldner, and Dr. Constantin Söldner.

Jens Söldner

Prof. Dr. Jens-Henrik Söldner is one of the managing directors of Söldner Consult GmbH, alongside Dr. Guido Söldner and Dr. Constantin Söldner. He holds all currently relevant certifications in the field of cloud computing, including Microsoft Azure certifications for Azure Architect (AZ-305) and Azure Administrator (AZ-104), the AWS Certified Architect, and the Google Certified Professional Architect.

His current focus lies on the design and implementation of VMware-based multi-cloud environments (Microsoft Azure VMware Solution / AVS, VMConAWS, and Google GCVE), as well as architectural consulting and the implementation of VMware’s IT security technology stack (NSX, Carbon Black).

An active participant in the virtualization field since VMware’s early days, he has been a VMware Certified Instructor and Mentor Instructor since 2005. In 2014, he became the first German-speaking trainer authorized for VMware NSX (then NSX-V in version 6.0).

He has mentored over 20 trainers to become VMware Certified Instructors. For his community activities, VMware has continuously recognized him as a VMware vExpert since 2013.

With over 25 years of IT experience since 1996 and deep expertise in multi-cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon AWS, VMware), he is one of Europe’s most distinguished virtualization and cloud computing trainers and experts. His company’s clients include VMware, Google, DellEMC, and numerous large enterprises and organizations across all industries.

In addition to his consulting and training work, Prof. Dr. Söldner serves as a full-time professor of IT Security and Business Informatics at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences.

Constantin Söldner

Dr. Constantin Söldner is responsible for Cloud Automation and Software Development at Söldner Consult GmbH. He is a certified trainer for AWS, Microsoft, and VMware.

As an experienced expert, consultant, and trainer in AWS, VMware, and cloud-related programming, his focus lies on automation solutions for large virtualized environments.

Dr. Constantin Söldner completed his doctorate at the Chair of Information Systems I at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg under Prof. Kathrin M. Möslein, specializing in innovation management.

Dr. Guido Söldner

Guido Söldner

Dr. Guido Söldner is Managing Director and Principal Consultant at Söldner Consult. His areas of expertise include cloud infrastructure, automation and DevOps, Kubernetes, machine learning, and enterprise programming with Spring.

With over a decade of experience in cloud computing, Guido began working with AWS in the early 2010s, becoming one of the first German-speaking trainers for the platform. He has since expanded his expertise to include other cloud providers, particularly Google Cloud and Azure. Guido holds most of the currently available certifications for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS.

In the private cloud sector, Guido has distinguished himself in VMware vRealize Automation, authoring several publications on the topic. His expertise has been recognized over the years by multiple vendors, and he is a long-standing VMware vExpert, VMware Tanzu Vanguard, and AWS Champion Instructor.

Dr. Guido Söldner earned his doctorate at the Chair of Operating Systems at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. In addition to his consulting and training activities, he teaches business informatics at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences and OTH Amberg.
