AWS re:Invent 2024, Las Vegas (News)

Amazon Web Services (AWS) presented numerous innovations in the areas of artificial intelligence, hardware and data management at AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas at the beginning of December 2024.

For example, AWS introduced the Amazon Bedrock Marketplace, which offers customers access to more than 100 foundation models in the Amazon Bedrock Managed Service Platform. These support a wide range of use cases from video generation to code creation. The new “Prompt Caching” and “Intelligent Prompt Routing” functions are designed to improve model selection and reduce costs by up to 30 percent.

In addition, GraphRAG has been extended for knowledge graphs of complex data relationships as well as functions for converting restructured data for RAG processes.
